Service Manager (M/F)

Key Responsibilities
The Service Manager will assume the full responsibility of all services delivered to the Flight Operations and Maintenance & Engineering divisions of our largest customer, i.e. Cargolux Airlines.
This includes the responsibility of budget and deliveries, day to day operations, the coordination of implementations of new projects as well as the line management of the CHAMP people servicing those divisions. He/she will be the primary contact for Flight Operations and Maintenance & Engineering management for any IT related matters including the definition of the requirements, and with the entire CHAMP Cargosystems organization for the delivery of the solutions.

The position is based at CHAMP Cargosystems offices in Luxembourg and reports to the Director of Customer Services.

Profile
The candidates should meet the following pre-requisites:   
- Service oriented, solution oriented and delivery focused person.
- Good ability to communicate with business, IT and management with strong understanding of users’ roles and requirements.
-  Minimum 2 years of senior position with project and/or line management responsibilities.
-  Proven experience of successful customer relationship management and supplier management.
-  At least 4 years experience in operational or delivery function of an airline or an IT service company facing an airlines Flight Operations or Maintenance activity.
-  Extensive knowledge of the main operational functions and processes of Flight Operations and/or Maintenance.
- Broad knowledge of IT Systems/Infrastructure and System/Application integration
- Practical experience of the main IT processes: requirements management, development, integration, support, maintenance.
Strong Project Management abilities including management of internal an external resources.
- Good interpersonal, team building and communications skills.
- Good analytical skills, with a practical approach to problem-solving and consensus builder.
- Functional experience in one of the leading Flight Operations or MRO management systems. Experience in AIMS or TRAX is considered being an asset.
- Fluent in English (spoken, written) is mandatory; French, German and Luxembourgish are assets
