Berlin, 17 March 2016 – CHAMP Cargosystems, the leading provider of integrated IT solutions to the air freight community, welcomes the relaunch of the Cargo 2000 initiative under its new brand Cargo iQ with its enhanced proposition for the air cargo business.

CHAMP Cargosystems has been a strong supporter of Cargo 2000 since its inception and offers a unique blend of solutions helping carriers, forwarders, handlers and truckers maintain the quality of service to the industry benchmark standards.

Cargo iQ is an exciting development in the value that air cargo has to offer to global supply chains and is a key component.

We look forward to fully supporting Cargo iQ and our customers to bring new levels of enhanced service to their operations."

Arnaud Lambert, CEO at CHAMP added, "Under our Traxon brand we offer CDMP services to carriers for Airport-to-Airport quality management and for forwarders this extends to Door-to-Door.  The data we provide from the CDMP will enable Cargo iQ deliver the information essential for the Smart Data Project."

CHAMP has been with our group for a very long time and has proofed a vital part in developing and operating integrated IT systems that reliably and efficiently deliver the data that we need to improve our industry.”

As part of reliable services delivery it's key to ensure ground handlers conform to quality standards and meet their carrier Service Level Agreements.

Xenocostas explained further, “Our core cargo solution Cargospot is helping handlers deliver the effective operational handling that is essential for carriers, who use their services, deliver quality.  Cargospot has the tools to provide the right messaging at the right time and in the right way. Our plans are to evolve this capability yet further in future.”
