Junior Graphic Designer London

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality & brand compliant creatives in the B2B arena including but not limited to: brochure generation & typesetting, infographics, interactive ebooks / playbooks, logo design, print ready pull up banners, exhibition booth artwork & 3D renders, advertisements (online/offline, static and animated), microsites, design concepts and graphics for cross-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, web)
  • Maintain and evolve CHAMP branding elements, branding guideline document and MS Office templates to further establish a strong and consistent corporate identity (e.g. logos, online / offline artwork / CHAMP iconography)
  • Apply creative thinking to identify opportunities to visually communicate our key messages (via website, collateral, Microsoft Powerpoint presentations, advertisements, and more) 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly competent in the graphic design process from brief to final production (conceptual thinking)
  • Ability to convert a brief as well as verbal and written feedback into brand-complying artwork in various formats in a timely manner
  • Ability to cope well with verbal and written feedback and translate it quickly into visual enhancements
  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate branding, page / canvas layout, colour theory and visual design required.
  • Strong interest and creativity in graphic design for a technology / IT provider and strong insights into graphic design trends in the B2B arena
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Intermediate working knowledge in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
  • Strong working experience in Microsoft Office products, especially in MS Powerpoint, creating sophisticated and neat slides & visuals, corporate Powerpoint templates and enhance presentation decks for product or sales departments
  • Strong communication skills (written, spoken, presentation)
  • Ability to articulate design rationale & present visual design work to all levels of the business
  • Strong project and time management skills and experience
  • Highly organized, maintain & enhance methodical filing of all marketing materials
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proactive and flexible self-starter with strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
  • Quick learner and ability to problem-solve by continuously broaden your skillset in line with evolving workload
  • Proven ability to actively listen to the voice of the customer and translate these into business opportunities
  • Working knowledge of storyboarding, corporate video & promotional product video development desired
  • Sketching ability considered an asset
  • Languages: English (fluent); other languages considered an asset

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in graphic and digital design
  • Experience in logo and iconography design
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality graphic designs on time
  • Experience working in a global organisation and across multiple cultures and time zones
  • Proven experience in print/graphic design for print materials (advertisements, booklets, posters, exhibition booths and 3D renders)
  • Experience in liaising with external market material production companies
  • Experience in web design and video production considered an asset
  • Experience in motion graphics/animation considered an asset

 

Applicants are required to provide a digital portfolio of work when submitting their application.

Upon successful completion of the 1st round interview, a graphic design assignment will need to be completed and submitted for review. If successful, you will be invited for a 2nd interview, during which you will present your assignment work.
