Oracle Database Administrator Manila

  • Administration of Oracle databases, which includes planning, installing and configuring of database servers.
  • Implementation of Oracle database changes, patches and upgrades
  • Provide technical consultancy and assist on technical issues related to Oracle databases as the backend of software products build by CCS
  • Validate database requirements and perform database upgrades
  • Bridge development and technical teams on technical issues related to Oracle databases
  • Inter-database data migration, conversion and export/import
  • Document procedures

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Oracle Administration Certification is an advantage
  • Exposure to Oracle 12c and above on Linux platform
  • Experience with RMAN
  • Experience with Cloud Control 12c, OID, spotlight and toad
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL is an advantage
  • Data Guard knowledge is an advantage
  • Linus OS and shell scripting knowledge
  • Good ability to react and solve the problems in the wise and independent manner, making decisions that lead to resume the impaired business process as quickly as possible
  • Good ability to communicate with customers and IT colleagues
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work autonomously and be flexible with regards to working hours
  • Service and customer oriented
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills, including writing technical documentation

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant courses
  • 3 years related working experience
