QC Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements and participate in Project Meetings
• Design and write Test Plans and supporting documentation
• Create Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Design and develop test cases and test scripts
• Perform quality testing of software applications
• Analyze and documents test results and related metrics
• Detect, raise and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Suggests and help implement test document and process improvements
• Report test progress internally and externally
• Coordinate with the Business Analysts/Infra/Development teams when needed
• Perform other test/support-related tasks when deemed necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working experience in different phases of testing such as integration, regression, and pre-user acceptance testing
• Experience in desktop application, web and mobile testing
• Have experience in Agile-Scrum and Waterfall environment
• Fluent in English with excellent written documentation and oral communication skills

Advantage if you have the following skills

• Good working experience of API, automated and performance testing
• Familiar with basic SQL scripts
• Proficient in using tools like JIRA, Confluence
• With exposure in service support operations

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience as a software tester
