Senior Oracle Database Administrator Manila

  • Administration of Oracle databases, which includes planning, installing and configuring of

database servers

  • Implementation of Oracle database changes, patches and upgrades
  • Trend analysis reporting and resource management
  • Problem Solving
  • Performance tuning
  • Overseeing of database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases
  • Provide technical consultancy and assist on technical issues related to Oracle databases as the

              backend of software products build by CCS

  • Validate database requirements and perform database upgrades
  • Bridge development and technical teams on technical issues related to Oracle databases
  • Inter-database data migration, conversion and export/import
  • Document procedures


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Oracle Administration Certification
  • Exposure to Oracle 12c on Linux platform, 19c is an advantage
  • Experience with RMAN and Dataguard Replication
  • Experience with Cloud Control 13C; OID, spotlight and toad
  • Knowledge of SQL. PL/SQL is an advantage.
  • Linux OS and shell scripting knowledge
  • Good ability to communicate with customers and IT colleagues
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work autonomously and be flexible with regards to working hours
  • Service and customer oriented
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills, including writing technical documentation
  • ITIL certification / Prince2 certification is an advantage

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant courses
  • 5 years related working experience as oracle Database Administrator
