Luxembourg, October 2015 – CHAMP Cargosystems got awarded this recognition for its impressive Hybrid Logistics Cloud – a well-defined utilization of private and public cloud technologies providing significant benefits to CHAMP and its clients, such as accessibility, automation, advanced data discovery, guaranteed security and data integrity as well as cost-efficiency.
CHAMP was competing against the nominated winners of the national EuroCloud Awards from eleven European countries.
The creation of a hybrid cloud architecture enables CHAMP to serve its air logistics clients with greater flexibility to address all their requirements in the best possible way. CHAMP’s cloud service serve more than 50,000 users across 4,500 clients, processing a highly impressive one billion plus messages annually.

CHAMP’s cloud innovation provides automation and analytics and is built around the third party tools ServiceNow and Splunk which enable the clients of SaaS provider CHAMP to perform many service management related tasks themselves and more importantly instantly, thanks to advanced workflows and notification mechanisms. In addition, the automation provides cost benefits on both sides, further enhancing the win-win relationship.
Demonstrating their commitment on data security and privacy in relation to customer data, CHAMP operates its cloud with fully automated Security Incident Event Management through Splunk and the tight integration with ServiceNow, jointly providing automated Vulnerability Management and pro-active monitoring.
Dealing with extremely tight encryption requirements among some of its Tier 1 airline clients enabled CHAMP to introduce secure solutions to standards such as Privileged Access Management and Advanced Data Protection which are commonly known within the Financial Services Sector.
