Lead Product Manager – Cargo Management Portfolio

Commercial Success

  • Drive consultative selling engagements, using domain expertise to position CHAMP’s cargo solutions portfolio effectively.
  • Collaborate with Global Sales to develop opportunity-specific strategies and win themes throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead business development initiatives by leveraging product community events and direct engagement with stakeholders.
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies to expand into market segments for new labels.
  • Maintain executive-level relationships and develop account-based marketing plans to increase customer acquisition and retention.
  • Support creation of proposals and responses to RFI/RFPs in alignment with CHAMP’s strategic goals.


Product & Market Strategy

  • Lead Business Effectiveness Review workshops to identify business challenges and convert them into actionable opportunities.
  • Use insights from customer engagements to influence product strategy and roadmap investment priorities.
  • Provide feedback to product teams based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Participate in ideation and positioning of value-added offerings to enhance Customer Lifetime Value.


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Marketing, and Delivery to ensure alignment of product messaging and market needs.
  • Guide and mentor a geographically distributed team of domain experts in client-facing engagements.
  • Promote a customer-first approach across all interactions, ensuring long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Deep understanding of air cargo business processes and industry dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative sales and business development within enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Strong communication and executive engagement skills across diverse geographies and cultures.
  • Ability to craft value propositions and solution-based selling narratives.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience converting complex customer requirements into winning strategies.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide as needed. 

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • 10+ years of experience in the air cargo or logistics domain.
  • 5+ years of experience in consultative sales or business development roles.
  • Demonstrated track record in engaging global airline customers and managing enterprise-level sales cycles.
