Traxon Global Customs (TGC) is ready for Nicaragua Customs Reporting

13.04.2017

Nicaragua Customs requires that all import, export, transshipment and transit and FROB air shipments must be reported as of 18 April 2017.

CHAMP is now adding Nicaragua Customs to our CHAMP’s Traxon Global Customs (TGC) service and will enable carriers with shipments to Nicaragua to file Flight Manifest, Air Waybill, and House Waybill data according to the requirements.

Used today by over 110 airlines and ground handlers, Traxon Global Customs solution currently covers electronic filing requirements in 50+ countries worldwide for Advance Electronic Customs Information covering both import, export, transshipment and transit regulations for air cargo.

Technical information as background:

All airlines are solely responsible for the transmission of the data (Air Waybill, House Waybill and Flight Manifest) and movement information to Nicaragua customs.

Carriers need only to send their IATA Cargo-IMP FWB, FHL, FFM and MVT messages to the CHAMP TGC service on flight departure prior to arrival to or departure from Nicaragua and TGC takes care of the rest – connecting to Customs, and filing the correct Customs messages using the Cargo-IMP message data supplied by the carrier. It is important to note that Customs are requesting aircraft movement information, so that departure and arrival messages can be generated on top of the standard ASYCUDA BOL message.
