Senior Project Manager

Reporting to the Director of Delivery

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager reporting to the Director of Delivery.

This opportunity sits within the department dedicated to delivering large customer implementation projects. We are recruiting this role to lead a major system implementation for a key customer in the Air Transport industry, making it a high-impact position at the heart of a strategic delivery programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of complex enterprise software implementations for airline customers.
  • Own delivery across all phases: pre-sales handover, contracting, design, build, test, go-live, hyper-care, and hand-over to customer service and operations.
  • Ensure consistent on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery.
  • Manage and validate scope changes. Raise Change Requests as required and obtain appropriate customer and internal approvals, in line with project governance.
  • Act as CHAMP’s representative in front of customer’s executive leadership.
  • Manage CHAMP resources, third parties, and/customer/joint Project Team(s).
  • Manage the customers to ensure they fulfil their obligations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Formal project management training and certification, PMP certified recommended
  • Successful delivery of three or more large (> EUR 1m) mission critical projects with full budget control
  • Competent in project management tools and MS Office
  • Proven track record in delivering strategic and complex projects in a timely manner
  • Proven experience in scope, time, cost, risk, stakeholder, 3rd Party and procurement management
  • Proven commercial understanding, with ability to manage subcontractor relationships
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, IT infrastructure and architecture will be an asset
  • Flexible, dynamic, and creative
  • A hands-on problem solver with excellent communication skills
  • Clearly client-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
  • Well established organization, multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory, other languages will be an asset

Education and Experience:

  • A university degree in Technology or Business.
  • Proven track record leading complex enterprise IT implementations with total contract values above $5M, with accountability for delivery and financial objectives
  • Experience in operating internationally, acquired with a large IT Services Provider or Global Consulting firm.
  • Thai language.
  • Travel required: ability to travel to client site, and occasionally international travel.
