Software Engineer

Reporting to the Development Team Manager

What we currently use:

  • Using machine learning to perform OCR
  • Using AI and LLMs to classify, work, and interact with Awb documents.
  • Using chatgpt and modern solutions to shape the future of air cargo industry
  • We build frontends with Angular
  • We do continuous integration with Gitlab
  • We build backend services with Java, Spring Boot, Web Services and Oracle / SQL Server / Mongo DB
  • We use Scrum to organize ourselves


What we expect from you:

  • Great team player: interact/collaborate with other like product owners, Bas and QAs.
  • Flexibitliy : able to help and work with any other team members.
  • Collaborate with other software engineers in the performance of assigned tasks.
  • Translate design specifications into program codes; enforce the Company’s software engineering methodology and standards.
  • Good code quality practices towards reliable, performant, and maintainable solutions
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
  • Mobility: Depending on the workload, you may travel abroad to work at other company sites (Luxembourg, London, Singapore, etc.).

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Equivalent
  • Must have 3 years’ experience in Java & object-oriented programming with SQL skills
  • Coding: Design patterns
  • Experience in SCRUM practices is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in design pattern is a plus
  • Experience in AI is a plus
  • Experience in LLMs is also a plus
  • Knowledgeable in Python is a plus
  • Containerization is a plus
  • Good command of the English language is a must
