Chief of Staff

Reporting to CEO

Location: Spain/ Czech

Publication Date:  02/07/2026

If you apply, please include your CV.

The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a senior leadership role responsible for driving alignment, focus, and execution across CHAMP. Acting as a trusted partner and extension of the CEO, the role ensures that priorities are clear, decisions are made and captured, and outcomes are delivered.

The Chief of Staff runs the company’s core leadership forums and owns the link between decisions and execution: ensuring that what is agreed moves forward, that progress is visible, and that anything stuck or unresolved is surfaced early and driven to a solution.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership Forums and Operating Cadence

Own the end-to-end running of the company’s key forums: Board, QBRs, and Company Calls. Set the agenda, ensure materials and narrative are accurate, consistent, and ready on time, and ensure follow-up is captured and closed.

Establish and maintain a disciplined operating cadence that keeps the organization focused on the priorities that matter.

Long-Term Strategy

Drive the development, articulation, and maintenance of the company’s long-term strategy alongside the CEO. Translate the strategy into clear priorities, track progress against it, and keep it current as the business and market evolve.

Decisions and Follow-Through

Own the single record of decisions and actions across leadership forums: what was decided, by whom, by when, and current status. Drive decisions into action and outcomes, holding stakeholders accountable and keeping initiatives moving to closure.

Early Visibility and Issue Resolution

Track progress against agreed priorities and surface risks and blockers early, before they escalate. Flag what is not moving or not being communicated, convene the right stakeholders, and drive timely resolution, removing friction across teams to increase speed of execution.

Alignment and Cross-Functional Effectiveness

Orchestrate collaboration between ExCom and broader teams. Drive clarity and alignment of priorities across functions, acting as a connector that improves cross-functional effectiveness.

Executive Narrative

Shape a clear and compelling narrative for the Board, QBRs, and leadership reviews on behalf of the CEO. Ensure consistency, clarity, and impact in how performance and priorities are communicated.

Strategic and Transformation Initiatives

Lead and coordinate strategic and transformation initiatives, ensuring they are structured, tracked, and delivered with measurable outcomes.

Scope and Ways of Working

The Chief of Staff acts with the CEO’s authority on defined and approved priorities, initiatives, and forums, and may speak and decide on the CEO’s behalf within an agreed mandate. The role does not hold line management authority over functions but drives alignment with relevant stakeholders and ensures visibility of decisions, actions, risks, and follow-up. Functional accountability remains with the relevant business owners. Success in the role depends on strong judgment, discretion, credibility with senior leaders, and the highest standards of confidentiality, particularly on Board, M&A, strategy, and people matters.

Experience

  • 10 years’ experience supporting senior executives at C- level
  • Proven experience in fast-paced, high-performance business environments
  • Experience operating effectively in global matrix organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and transformation at scale
  • Experience in agile, ambiguous environments requiring executive judgment

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong business acumen across commercial, operational, and people dimensions
  • Ability to translate priorities into actions and measurable outcomes
  • Knowledge of corporate governance, Board interactions, and executive reporting
  • Understanding of financial and business performance management
  • Familiarity with change management and cross-functional ways of working
  • Knowledge of project and program management disciplines and structured execution
  • Confident user of modern productivity and AI tools to prepare materials, synthesize information, and accelerate execution
