Purpose
Drive a high-performing HR service delivery engine that enables consistent execution, strong governance, and a reliable employee experience. Lead continuous improvement across HR Operations and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring a consistent, compliant and risk-controlled approach across all CHAMP locations.
Successful candidate
Provide strong leadership of HR Operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and scalable people processes that support business transformation and growth. Will bring a governance and risk-conscious mindset, foster trusted partnerships across the business, and drive accountability through clear communication, judgment, and effective problem-solving. Focus will be on delivering exceptional operational performance while continuously improving the employee experience.
Responsibilities
Employee Life Cycle Management & Administration
- Manage the consistent delivery of all Employee Life Cycle activities including pre-boarding, on-boarding and off boarding, ensuring that the process is adhered to and that any local initiatives are integrated into the process appropriately.
- Continuously drive improvement in the design and delivery of the day-to-day operational activities making recommendations to streamline global and local processes ensuring customers continue to receive an effective consistent and efficient service.
- Responsible for all HR Operations employment standards implementation such as employee related forms, contracts and templates.
- Work with HR team to ensure the efficient management of ad hoc employee events and exceptions that are documented.
Payroll and Benefits Management
- Ensure consistent delivery of all payroll activities, in close collaboration with the payroll team and Finance, maintain strict compliance with applicable tax legislation, local government rules and reporting requirements.
- Lead benefits management, including reviewing benefit providers, RFPs and vendor selection, in partnership with HRBPs to ensure benefit plans meet local business and employee needs.
Governance and Compliance
- Measure HR service performance and efficiency.
- Manage HR vendor contracts, SLAs and relationships.
- Ensure accurate, timely employee data management.
- Lead audit activities by ensuring timely responses, complete documentation, and compliance with data privacy, retention and GDPR.
- Maintain governance with SITA group for Champ seconded employees, standardizing processes, roles and compliant lifecycle execution.
- Manage HR Operations risks, controls, mitigations and escalations.
Knowledge & Skills Profession
- 7+ years’ experience of HR related disciplines with 5 years in a HR Operations environment.
- 7+ years’ experience in managerial roles which required interactions with senior management.
- Experience working in complex, international/multi-cultural and fast paced environment.
- Sound HRIS management (reporting, audit)
- Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, employee lifecycle processes and HR governance.
- Ability to translate HR policies and compliance requirements into execution.
- Proven capability to manage vendors, SLAs, audits, risks and service performance in an international HR environment.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or equivalent.
- Preferred member of the professional HR association.
- Fluent in English.
