Head of Sales & Account Management - Americas

We are currently looking for Head of Sales & Account Management - Americas and will be reporting to the Director of Global Sales & Account Management The Head of Sales & Account Management – Americas (AME) is a key position within CHAMP Cargosystems, responsible for delivering new business and maintaining existing relationships of some of CHAMP’s most important clients. We are looking for a confident person, who possesses heaps of humility, that will allow you to develop strong relationships with our clients across all levels, manage and grow a complex and busy pipeline while ensuring CHAMP’s standard process are maintained to a high standard. Your ability to manage multiple changing priorities will be essential, as this role will be demanding. Understanding the pain points of our customers enables you to offer the most appropriate and effective solution for their business. Our approach is quite simple, we collaborate in a consultative way thus ensuring our clients receive the best and right solution with high value. You will be working with full autonomy, however, as a European based company you must be prepared to attend regular early morning meetings so flexibility and understanding would be required to be successful in this position. The position holder will work in close collaboration across the organisation including product management, delivery management, finance, marketing, and other leadership, all whom will contribute to your success. Based in the United States of America, most of your client / prospect meetings will be via Microsoft Teams, however, you may be asked to travel internationally (10-20%) to meet internal or key customers or prospective accounts. The position holder may be asked to represent the company at specific fairs and customer events and, at times, present on stage at industry events.
